Components

Components are self-contained parts of a user interface that can be easily lifted and reused, such as a banner, breadcrumbs or button.

Components are the building blocks of the Design System. You can reuse each component in the Scottish Government Design System with no or minimal changes. If you prefer, you can also adapt a component’s code to better meet what your users need.
